Hi, I’m Daphne Grover, LPC Associate

(Supervised by Casey Davids, M.Ed., LPC-S).

A Brief Personal Note About Me:

I believe therapy should feel welcoming, grounded, and empowering — not cold or overly clinical. Whether you’re seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or identity exploration, my goal is to create a counseling space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

Outside of the therapy room, I value creativity, humor, and the ways our interests — including gaming, online communities, and shared passions — can support connection, resilience, and mental wellbeing. I believe growth happens when you feel comfortable enough to show up as your full, authentic self.

How I work:

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in practical tools you can actually use in real life. Therapy with me is a balance of insight and action — understanding the "why" behind your patterns while also building strategies to create real change.

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you live in alignment with your values

  • Trauma-informed care to ensure safety, pacing, and respect throughout our work

  • Neurodivergent-affirming approaches that honor how your brain works rather than trying to "fix" it

  • Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident in yourself, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges — without losing who you are in the process.

Who I Work With

I primarily works with emerging adults and adults, including college students and young professionals navigating major life transitions. This may include adjusting to college, entering or changing careers, managing relationship shifts, or feeling uncertain about identity and direction.

I also enjoys supporting individuals who identify as neurodivergent, particularly those with ADHD. My work often focuses on executive functioning challenges, overwhelm, self-doubt, and building systems that actually work for how your brain operates.

Areas of Focus

I support clients experiencing:

  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Life transitions

  • Identity exploration and self-esteem

  • Stress and burnout

Whether you’re looking for clarity, practical tools, or a space to better understand yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, reconnect, and build meaningful change.

We Might Work Well Together If…
