Hi! I am Michelle Kenyon, an LPC Intern.
Supervised by Amanda Lieberg, LPC-S
Reaching out for counseling can feel overwhelming, and taking that first step is a brave one. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing and growth.
About Me
I am a graduate student earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
I am currently accepting adolescent and adult clients via Telehealth under the supervision of Amanda Lieberg, LPC-S.
My Approach
My work integrates elements of:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Trauma-informed care
Nervous system–aware interventions
Parts-based understanding
Creative and reflective practices
I balance structured goal-setting with empathic listening, helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.
Who I Work With
I support individuals navigating:
Trauma and adverse experiences
Attachment wounds and relationship patterns
Self-worth and identity concerns
Emotional patterns that impact how we relate to ourselves and others
Wherever you are starting from, we will work together to clarify goals, strengthen coping skills, and support lasting growth.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy travel, strength training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and creative writing. These interests inform my belief in the importance of personal growth, self-expression, and resilience — both in and out of therapy.
