Hi, I’m Emily Jensen, LPC Associate
(Supervised by Casey Davids, M.Ed., LPC-S).
A Brief Personal Note About Me:
I’m a new mom, dog lover, and avid fiction reader who feels most grounded near lakes, mountains, and the outdoors. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 10 years working in corporate finance — an experience that gives me a unique understanding of high-pressure careers, burnout, identity shifts, and major life transitions.
This background allows me to connect deeply with clients navigating stress, motherhood, career changes, and the emotional demands of modern life. I bring a curious, empathetic, and steady presence to therapy, creating a space where you can slow down, reflect, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
How I work:
My approach is thoughtful, relational, and grounded in curiosity. I’m interested in understanding the deeper experiences and patterns that shaped you — not just the anxiety, conflict, or overwhelm you’re feeling right now. Together, we’ll explore how your past relationships, attachment experiences, and life transitions influence the way you see yourself and connect with others (Psychoanalytic Theory, Attachment-Based Therapy).
I work from a trauma-informed lens and move at a pace that feels safe and steady for you (Trauma-Informed Therapy). Our work is collaborative and centered on the relationship we build in the room, because meaningful change happens when you feel truly understood and supported (Relational Therapy).
My goal is for therapy to feel grounding, reflective, and deeply human — not clinical or intimidating — so you can feel more secure, confident, and connected in your everyday life.
Who I Work With
I work with teens, adults, couples, and perinatal/postpartum individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are navigating relationship conflict, dating and attachment patterns, career stress or burnout, new parenthood, identity shifts, and questions of purpose or direction.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or adjusting to a new season of life, therapy can provide a supportive space to process, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
We Might Work Well Together If…
You may struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or perfectionism, holding yourself to extremely high standards while feeling internally exhausted. You might notice repeating relationship patterns, family dynamics that feel hard to untangle, or find yourself in a life transition questioning your identity, purpose, or direction.
If you’re looking for more than surface-level coping skills — and want deeper insight, meaningful growth, and lasting change — we may be a good fit. I show up as present, thoughtful, and honest, helping you understand the emotional patterns shaping your relationships, career, and self-worth so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
